A few observant ones of you may have noticed that my signature on here has changed. That's because, as you may have guessed, I have a new car. It's a 1988 Honda Aerodeck 8-) It's an absolute minter, and totally loving it! It's got the A20A4 engine in it (2 litre, 12V without cat), manual, and 92k on the clock! And NO, it won't be getting ratted out, it is going to be a true classic, have a few choice touches done on it, and will be a total beauty when she's done. It's going to be called "Marvin" as it just reminds me of Marvin the paranoid android. It's very clean, and I've already started playing with it. Got some nice speakers in the rear, waiting for the speakers to arrive to go in the front, got my stereo in, and I've done a short ram air intake as the original intake is about 4 foot long! Before: After: Oh, and it has this sticker on the driver's side wing on the top!!!! Had to do the obligatory night time shots with the pop up lights Side lights (with lights down): Head lights: New component speakers are in the front doors. JBL GTO 508C, and they sound amazing!!! And of course, I had to upgrade the factory horn just a bit!!

For the year, it is in great condition Even under the hood. A lot of character. You may want to makeshift a heat shield for the K&N filter depending on how hot it gets under there.

It was only made for 3 years (86-89) and only released in Europe and Japan, though it's unusual in that most were released in Europe. There's only 100 left in the uk, and only 13 of this spec left (top spec in manual) It's going to be put on some 17s, get a trunk build and a drop. Will get tinted windows too and that'll probably be it. It might get a respray in a few years in gloss black but that's in a whiles time.

Hey Crazy. If yo are going to buy some 17s, will you sell me the existing wheels, tyres and trims complete? I've got a white Aerodeck auto of the same age. Mine is "just out the box" with only 55 thousand on it. Big Laurie

Great looking car Cazy-C. 'Course, you will have trouble getting your Tesco's shopping bags in there, with that giant speaker living in the back!

very nicely done 'deck.
My dad had the exact model in silver... and prompted my fondness of Honda.
This car had everything ! pop ups full electrics, cruise control sunroof.
I'm out to get one in a few years. Maybe a jap model (with a swapped VTEC engine would be nice!)
its going to be a future classic!
how many miles and how much you pick marv up for?!
